Der wAP 60Gx3 AP ist ein Access Point Modell für das 60 GHz Spektrum. Im Vergleich zum regulären wAP 60G AP verfügt dieses neue Modell über ein völlig neues Antennen-Array, das einen viel größeren Abdeckungswinkel unterstützt und speziell für den Mehrpunktbetrieb optimiert ist.

Die 96 Antennenelemente arbeiten mit Beamforming-Technologie, um Konnektivität für bis zu acht 60-GHz-Client-Geräte gleichzeitig in einem Sichtfeld von 180 Grad zu ermöglichen. Bauen Sie eine kosteneffektive Punkt-zu-Mehrpunkt-Einrichtung im sauberen 60-GHz-Wireless-Spektrum zu einem Bruchteil der Kosten auf.

Zwei wAP 60Gx3 AP-Einheiten können auch in Punkt-zu-Punkt-Konfigurationen verwendet werden.

1. All tests are done with Xena Networks specialized test equipment (XenaBay),and done according to RFC2544 (Xena2544)
2. Max throughput is determined with 30+ second attempts with 0,1% packet loss tolerance in 64, 512, 1518 byte packet sizes
3. Test results show device maximum performance, and are reached using mentioned hardware and software configuration, different configurations most likely will result in lower results
