#1: RB760iGS - hEX S
hEX S ist ein Gigabit-Ethernet-Router mit fünf Ports für Standorte, an denen keine Wlan-Verbindungen benötigt werden. Im Vergleich zum hEX verfügt der hEX S zusätzlich über einen SFP-Port und einen PoE-Ausgang am letzten Port. Er ist erschwinglich, klein und einfach zu bedienen, verfügt aber gleichzeitig über eine sehr leistungsfähige Dual-Core-CPU mit 880 MHz und 256 MB RAM, die alle erweiterten Konfigurationen des RouterOS unterstützt. Das Gerät verfügt über einen USB 2.0, einen PoE-Ausgang für den Ethernet-Port Nr. 5 und einen 1,25Gbit/s SFP-Käfig. Der Port #5 kann andere passive PoE-fähige Geräte mit der gleichen Spannung versorgen, die auch am Gerät anliegt. IPsec-Hardwareverschlüsselung (~470 Mbps) und das Dude-Server-Paket werden unterstützt, der microSD-Slot bietet eine verbesserte R/W-Geschwindigkeit für die Dateispeicherung und den Dude.
