Mikrotiks neuer RB1100AHx4 (Dude Edition) verfügt über eine Annapurna Alpine AL21400 CPU mit vier jeweils auf 1.4GHz geclockten Cortex A15 Cores was einen maximalen Durchsatz von bis zu 7.5Gbit/s ermöglicht. Der Router unterstützt IPsec Hardware Beschleunigung (acceleration) und ist schneller als Vorgänger RouterBOARD devices (bis zu 2.2Gbit/s mit AES128). Der Router wird im 1U Rackmount-Gehäuse geliefert, verfügt über 13x Gigabit Ethernet Ports, einen seriellen RS232 Port sowie über zwei redundante Netzteile (-48v DC telecom power und 802.3at/af Unterstützung). Die Mikrotik RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition verfügt über verschiedene high speed Storage Konnectoren (2x SATA, 2x M.2) für die Nutzung mit einer Dude Datenbank, Proxy Cache oder anderer, Speicherhungrigen Anwednungen (z.B. Hotspot oder dgl.). Im Verkaufsumfang ist direkt eine 60GB M.2 SSD enthalten und installiert.
